piddling adj[esp attrib 尤作定语] (infml derog 口, 贬) (a) unimportant; trivial 不重要的; 琐碎的 I don't want to hear all the piddling little details! 我不想听那些琐碎的事! (b) small 小的 It's annoying to have to get authorization for spending such piddling amounts of money. 花这麽一点钱也要去请示, 真烦人.
